They are currently seeking a Media and Communications Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role
As a Media and Communications Manager, you will plan, shape and deliver communications that promote our client’s work and reputation to their core audiences.
Communicating the findings from their research, as well as resources and opportunities for schools, early years settings and colleges, you will devise and manage the strategic placement of their messages, ensuring that they are communicated in appropriate contexts for maximum impact.
You will also manage the Digital Communications Officer, supporting them in the creation of engaging social media plans, newsletters and other digital content and ensuring they are equipped to deliver on their commitments.
Additionally, you will:
- Devise and implement multi-channel communications plans
- Pitch timely stories and articles to national and trade media
- Draft and distribute press releases and media statements
- Build relationships with key external stakeholders, including journalists, to support communications
- Copyedit key external outputs, ensuring they are written in an accessible, consistent and engaging tone
About You
To be considered as a Media and Communications Manager, you will need:
- Experience working in a communications or media role and/or an academic-setting
- Excellent written communication and editing skills
- Outstanding relationship management skills
