Mortgage Advisor

My client is a modern, growing, established, successful and directly authorised, Independent Mortgage brokerage. The company's main aim is to provide the best and most impartial advice available to its clientele.
The company are expanding due to increased business levels and in turn are currently keen to recruit an additional Mortgage Advisor on an employed basis, to join their team of experienced Advisor’s based within their Whiteley, Fareham, Hampshire office.

The working hours within this position are Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 17:30pm. With one later day worked per week until 19:00pm.

This is a hybrid role whereby the successful candidate would work from the office on three days per week, where free car parking is available. Whilst you will also have the opportunity to work from home twice per week.

All required I.T. equipment and software are provided by the company, enabling you to also work seamlessly from home.

As an employed, independent Mortgage Advisor you will benefit from receiving all client introductions from the company.

The businesses clients are based not only locally but throughout England and are gained from the firms; new business development activities including digital marketing, their well established existing client base (renewal and repeat business) and via the large national network of estate agency client introducer’s that are already in place.

Role Responsibilities;

• To provide a quality, compliant and efficient mortgage advice service to all clients.

• Establishing strong relationships with clients. Plus, identifying and contacting potential new clients.

• Gathering sufficient client information and identifying client requirements.

• Analyse information gathered and undertake sufficient research to make suitable mortgage product recommendations.

• Ensuring a seamless process of the mortgage application, completing all supporting documentation in an accurate and timely manner.

• Attaining and maintaining competent status as defined by the FCA and the company. Complying with the Compliance and Training & Competence Schemes/Procedures of the firm. In addition to the requirements of the FCA.

• Maintaining performance standards in accordance with those outlined in the Key Performance Indicators section of the firm’s Training & Competence scheme.

Required Candidate Experience/Criteria;
• A strong track record in mortgage advising is essential.

• In turn you must hold the full CeMAP (or equivalent) qualification.

• You must be self-motivated and ambitious.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong organisation and time management skills.

• My client is keen to recruit candidate’s who are able to offer a high level of client care.

Within this employed Mortgage Advisor position, the successful candidate will receive a basic salary of circa £27,000 to £35,000 (the exact basic salary offered will be dependent upon your level of suitable experience/skill-set), plus commission and a range of employee benefits. All of which leading to a possible OTE of £80,000 to £100,000+.
