Ciret Ltd is a rapidly growing business based on the South Coast of the UK and is a successful division of the Storch-Ciret Group, Europe’s largest manufacturer and distributor of painting tools.

As a rapidly growing company with over 10 years of presence in the UK, Ciret Ltd is ready to elevate their brand to new heights. With a diverse portfolio of 1200 products and a strong customer base of over 800 clients, they are seeking a National Account Manager with a proven sales background to play an integral role in driving sales throughout the UK.

As National Account Manager, you will be responsible for the overall UK sales of Ciret products into the Builders Merchants sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing and developing the client base within this market using their experience and existing relationships.

Ciret are looking for someone with a proven track record of sales growth, selling into the Builders Merchants Sector around the UK, both the Independent Groups, as well as the National Chains. The individual will need the ability to think strategically and commercially with the ability to initiate, grow and maintain client relationships. This role is due to commence in January 2024.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Drive customer growth and satisfaction: cultivate and expand the existing customer base by nurturing strong business relationships, consistently surpassing customer expectations, and promoting a diverse product range.
  • Identify new business opportunities: explore untapped potential in the market by staying attuned to current industry trends, growth opportunities, and market dynamics.
  • Embrace continuous learning and initiative: we seek an individual who is passionate about personal growth, takes initiative, pays meticulous attention to detail, and thrives on self-reliance. Collaboration is key in this role.
  • Build an effective sales process and strategy that can attract and grow business with customers and potentials that have multiple site retail operations in the Builders Merchants arena.
  • Stay ahead of the competition: keep a vigilant eye on the competitive landscape by gathering up-to-date market intelligence on pricing, products, innovations, and delivery schedules.
  • Engage in training and events: foster product knowledge and engagement by taking part in product training sessions, participating in distributor events, and representing our brand at trade shows.
  • Territory management and risk mitigation: oversee territory management by proactively addressing issues, building strong relationships with key accounts, re-engaging accounts that have fallen below order averages, and safeguarding at-risk accounts.
  • Maintain reporting and accountability: uphold transparency and accountability by regularly generating and maintaining weekly activity reports to track performance.
  • Support new product launches. Collaborate in the successful launch of new product lines to the market sector.

This is not an exhaustive list and you must be flexible in your approach to carrying out your duties which may change from time to time to reflect business needs or for the company’s continuous improvement.

About you:

  • Be passionate about business development: a true sales professional who possesses the passion, self-motivation, and presentation skills needed to engage decision-makers at all levels.
  • Show a track record of achieving aggressive sales targets and demonstrate your ability exceed challenging targets.
  • Experience supplying and building relationships with buildings merchants is essential.
  • Demonstrate effective time management by efficiently managing your priorities to maximize returns.
  • Possess good IT proficiency, including knowledge of MS office.
  • Show good competitive awareness.
  • Exhibit strong organisational and planning capabilities.
  • Display outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Can work independently from your home office, showing good self-motivation.
  • Be able to travel frequently throughout the UK with occasional overnight stays.
  • Have a full and clean driving licence.

Benefits:

  • £40,000 to £45,000 per annum plus commission

This is a full-time, permanent position, working from home. Due to the role covering the UK, the ideal location for the successful candidate will be Mid England.
