The Role
As a National Account Manager, your responsibilities will include managing key accounts and fostering growth within the retail sector. You will play a pivotal role in broadening our presence in leading retailers such as Boots, B&M, Homebargains, TJ Morris, and Superdrug, with potential opportunities for new business development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and cultivate existing accounts, with a focus on enhancing sales and market share.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to expand our product offerings and drive category growth.
• Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders at retail partners to ensure our brands receive optimal exposure and support.
• Identify and seize new business opportunities, including private label partnerships and expansion into new retail channels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement marketing and promotional initiatives that bolster brand awareness and sales.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2-5 years' experience in National Account management within the consumer goods or beauty industry.
• Proven track record of surpassing sales targets and driving growth in a competitive market environment.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
• Experience working with retailers such as Boots, Superdrug, and major discount chains is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of category management principles and experience developing strategic plans to succeed in the market.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
