Our client is a market leading consumer brand and this is an excellent opportunity to join in an Account Sales Manager role covering the UK off trade market. This is a new role to the business and you will be able to add real value to the Account Management sales team.
They expect the successful candidate to be experienced working with major UK National Grocery accounts, along with being able to demonstrate proven experience of handling National Grocery accounts and managing margins, customer profitability and sales targets.

Responsibilities
• As a Account Sales Manager, you will be in charge of managing existing accounts as well as opening new business avenues to create long-term commercial partnerships.
• Grow your geographical portfolio of clients within grocery sector, retail & catering. By mapping your market, client visits, events & media
• Networking and attending trade events
• Constantly increase your product knowledge to ensure you are a product ambassador
• Strong personal customer service skills with multi-clients
• To creates an atmosphere centred on delivering superior service for both internal and external customers
• Manage clearance, non-moving stock as well as product launches.
• Price negotiations, sales forecasts, and price increases.
• Contribute to the sales growth of the existing Commercial Food Accounts through effective and pro-active management of the relationship to achieve long-term growth and profitability, thereby consistently achieve value, volume and margin targets.
• Deal with existing customers with regards to on ongoing and new projects – pricing / model specification / complete project management.
• Provide guidance and support to stakeholders across the business
