Tomato Homes is a leading player in the domestic solar industry, dedicated to providing sustainable energy solutions. We are on the lookout for a highly motivated and experienced National Sales Manager to lead our Field Sales Representatives and drive the expansion of our solar PV business. As the National Sales Manager, you will serve as a mentor, instilling motivation, and championing competence development to create a culture where every team member is empowered to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Provide ongoing training and development to enhance the skills and performance
of the sales team.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs for strategic
decision-making.
- Analyse sales performance metrics to ensure the team meets or exceeds
expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with overall business
goals.
Qualifications/ Desired Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales management within the domestic solar industry
(desirable).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of solar products, market trends, and customer needs
(desirable)
- 5+ years of B2C sales experience (within the UK)
- Ideally, a minimum of 3 years of experience in the outdoor industry (within the UK)
- Demonstrable experience in devising comprehensive sales strategies driven by
data.
- Exceptional sales acumen.
- The ability to adapt to the market, industry, and company priorities.
