Area to be covered: National - not based in extremities
Remuneration: £60,000-£70,000 Neg. + 20% Bonus

The role of the National Specification Sales ManagerPlumbing and Heating will involve:
- National specification sales management role
- Overseeing a team supplying Plumbing and cistern products as well as plumbing repair products
- 80% of your time managing a team of four regional Specification Sales Managers (one focusing on the private sector and one focusing public sector for both the North and South of the country)
- Supporting the private sector specification sales reps win opportunities with housebuilders, OEM’s, commercial washroom companies, commercial office developers, modular and off-site manufacturers, hotel & leisure and large estate owners
- Supporting the public sector specification sales reps to win specifications within housing associations, local housing landlords, local authorities, colleges, schools, student accommodation, water companies and providers of facilities management.
- 20% of this role will involve key account managing 3-4 large OEM washroom accounts
- Revenue responsibility is currently undetermined as this team has only recently been created/ split from existing team, but expected to be in the region of £6m-£10m
The ideal applicant will be a National Specification Sales ManagerPlumbing and Heating with:
- Minimum of 3 years field sales management
- Preferably within the Plumbing and Heating industry
- May be open to other building product sectors if managed a specification field sales team
- Excellent coaching, mentoring and leadership qualities
- Preferably an understand of the specification route to market (non-distribution)
- Technical capability
- Specific knowledge of Plumbing and cistern products as well as plumbing repair products is not required
