What you'll need:
- To be passionate about customer service with excellent communication skills both written and verbal, being resilient with a positive and can-do-attitude.
- Be exceptionally organised with the ability to self-manage a diverse and varied caseload, prioritising work effectively and delivering a first-time fix to produce high quality work.
- Have experience within a customer facing role, preferably within housing management and ideally within the social housing sector.
- Good understanding of tenancy and leasehold management and enforcement is desirable, as well as knowledge of current housing legislation and practice and government policy.
A bit about the role:
As a Neighbourhood Manager you’ll be the ‘face of Peabody’ and responsible for the specialist, personalised service our customers receive. You will ensure a holistic approach and the delivery of accessible, high quality and value for money services, and will work collaboratively with other teams to ensure safe, thriving neighbourhoods that customers love. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring community safety and supporting the wellbeing of residents, with a particular focus on helping vulnerable residents and families and engaging and working with them in the management of their homes and neighbourhoods.
You will underpin and improve overall performance within your area, encompassing all aspects of housing management. You’ll also be carrying out estate, scheme and property inspections and will be identifying issues and capturing feedback to continuously improve our services and customer satisfaction, ensuring lessons learnt help us to improve the service we provide.
There are 2 vacancies available:
- One vacancy will cover Feltham/Staines/Ashford.
- Second vacancy to cover East Acton and Shepherds Bush.
This role will require a Basic DBS check.
As part of this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to broaden your skills and enhance your professional development by undertaking a level 3 qualification in housing management, supported by us, if you do not already hold a level 3 qualification or above in Housing.
