A leading international law firm is hiring a new Network Analyst to join their London office on an initial 12-month fixed term contract:

The Network Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all networking topologies, including but not limited to: WAN, LAN, MPLS, Wi-Fi, Internet and Unified Communications, ensuring all network devices are configured and operating in line with industry best practices and the firm’s IT policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain all networking topologies including but not limited to WAN, LAN, MPLS, Wi-Fi, Internet and Unified Communications systems
- Create and execute a maintenance plan to ensure all networking firewall and telephone systems are keep up to date with security and software patches
- Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts. Evaluate and recommend for purchase networking hardware, software and telephony products
- Incident Management – responsible for technical troubleshooting and responding to emergency outages in accordance with business continuity and disaster recovery plans
- Support development and implementation of networking, firewall and telephony initiatives/projects
- Liaise with vendors and 3rd parties for technical escalations and managed services under direction of Infrastructure TL or Head of IT Operations
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an IT Networking and Security role, in a law firm or similar professional services
- Experience of working in an ITIL operational process environment and ideally having worked within an ISO 27001 accredited environment or equivalent
- Well-developed troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of Subnets, vLAN, TCP/IP, WAN including MPLS, LES, SDWAN, internet networks, Networking protocols, SIP, ISDN, OSPF/BGP, Site to site and client VPN
