AddressNetwork Security Engineer | Up to £500-£550 P/Day | Inside IR35 | Hybrid
Gravitas has partnered with a Financial Services client of ours, who are currently hiring for an experienced Network Security Engineer, to join the business on a hybrid basis. The successful candidate will have a substantial amount of hands-on Network Security experience, and preferably possess experience with various technologies and demonstrate the ability to actively contribute to
the team and deliver results.
This position requires practical involvement and collaboration with third-party outsourcing entities, therefore being a strong communicator will be a key requirement.
Essential skills:
- Excellent understanding of Web Gateway proxies, ideally Mcafee/Trelix.
- Good knowledge of Checkpoint firewalls, Cloudguards, VPNs, Remote access and IPS.
- Well-rounded understanding of various network technologies.
- Cisco routing and switching, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF
- Good insight of InfoSec Security principles
- Good understanding of Privilege Access Management, SIEM configuration and vulnerability management
- Previous experience working across general multi-factor authentication.
- Technical certifications in one of the following: CCNA, CCSP, CCNP & CCSE
This contract is an initial 3-month duration, however, the scope of work has a long-term outlook, so there is an excellent chance of extension.
