My client is a prominent IT Security organisation who has been in business for more than twenty years. They excel in the world of IT Security with leading experts in threat intelligence, forensics and other specialists cyber security areas.

We are looking for a skilled and professional Networking Helpdesk Support Engineer who is looking to join a busy Helpdesk environment. Hands-on experience operating in a helpdesk environment, sound problem solving abilities along with first class communication skills.

Good overall understanding of networking technologies ideally Checkpoint but other vendors are considered, along with knowledge of firewalls. Virtualisation technologies which would include VMware / Hyper-V, awareness of vulnerability, used to working to SLA (service level agreements), some IT security or an appreciation for cyber security. Able to explain API tech (application programming interface).

Someone that has worked with IS027001 could do well but not essential, networking qualifications would be welcomed as would someone that has a good understanding of the cyber security environment.
Please be prepared to partake in a 24/7 shift pattern.
