NHS Estates Officer

Have you got a multi skilled maintenance engineering background with an electrical bias? Do you want to work for an organisation that has a massive impact on the lives of every day people? Have you supervised and/or managed staff previously?

We are currently recruiting for an Estates Officer to work for one of our NHS clients based in Bradford. The role is initially working for 6 months, with the right candidate starting ASAP.

The main duties will reverberate around having responsibility for the operational management of the Engineering, Building and Grounds maintenance teams. This will involve:

• Planning and coordinating planned and reactive maintenance duties.
• Supervising and delegating tasks to members of the maintenance team, including contractors.
• Working to agreed completion times, making sure that any delays are communicated to the relevant stakeholders.
• Ensuring that all electrical works comply with the relevant legislations.
• Carrying out risk assessments and ensuring health and safety processes are followed.
• Inspecting engineering systems.
