Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Administrator to join our clients Private Eye Hospital in Bolton on a temporary contract basis. The Clinical Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient functioning of our clinical operations. This position involves a combination of administrative tasks, patient coordination, and communication with medical staff.
Responsibilities:
Patient Coordination:- Schedule and manage patient appointments, ensuring optimal utilization of clinic resources.
- Confirm patient appointments, communicate any necessary instructions, and address inquiries regarding appointments.
Administrative Support:- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with confidentiality and data protection policies.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of medical documentation, reports, and correspondence.
- Manage and organize administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
Communication:- Serve as a liaison between patients, medical staff, and other administrative departments.
- Communicate effectively with patients to provide information, address concerns, and ensure a positive patient experience
Quality Assurance:- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines related to patient care and administrative processes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance overall clinic efficiency.
Team Collaboration:- Work collaboratively with other administrative staff, nurses, and healthcare professionals to achieve a seamless patient care experience.
- Provide support to the clinical team as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using office software and electronic health record systems.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
