Branded Outdoor Clothing
Our client is a leading brand in the outdoor clothing industry and it is seeking a highly motivated and experienced (NED) to join the Board.
About the Role:
As a NED you will play a vital role in providing strategic guidance and oversight to the executive team. You will leverage your extensive experience and expertise to help achieve their ambitious growth goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's long-term strategy.
- Provide strategic counsel and advice to the executive team.
- Participate actively in Board meetings and discipline specific discussions, offering leadership, insights and perspectives.
- Oversee corporate governance and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of risk management strategies.
- Identify and advise on potential new market opportunities or acquisitions.
- Serve as a mentor and sounding board for the executive team.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the outdoor clothing industry trends and market dynamics.
Our Client seeks:
- A seasoned business leader with a minimum of 15 years of experience at a senior level, ideally within the retail and ecommerce sectors.
- Proven track record of success in driving international sales growth and profitability.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Knowledge of international manufacturing and supply chains.
- Demonstrable experience of building a successful international brand.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for the outdoors and a strong understanding of the outdoor clothing market (a plus).
