North Area Director (AD3)
Salary: £89,968 per annum/ A+ plus excellent benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working.
Contract: Permanent working 35 hours per week(Arts Council recognises the benefit of flexible working as a valued part of the way we work, and welcome applications from individuals who require flexibility)
Location: Manchester, Leeds or Newcastle
The North Area Director forms part of the Arts Council’s national leadership team and takes a key role in the delivery of our Strategy for 2020-2030 in the North Area. They will ensure that the North contributes successfully to our national strategy by delivering on its outcomes and investment principles and will have responsibility for the North area budget.
The Director will be responsible for managing, developing and empowering their senior team, in order to achieve agreed objectives and outcomes: particularly when working in a collaborative, interconnected structure wherein individuals have dual roles and a range of accountabilities.
