SalaryAn excellent opportunity for Leeds-based candidates with previous construction experience in either or both contentious and non-contentious work has arisen within the Leeds office of a national firm.
This opportunity is open to candidates who can demonstrate significant previous experience as a construction paralegal or candidates who are qualified solicitors who can demonstrate either training contract or post-qualification experience in construction.
Having grown significantly over the last few years and recognised as a leader in the areas of property and construction, my client is looking to make a further addition to their already existing 28 strong team of construction and engineering lawyers with expertise in a wide range of sectors including transport, healthcare, oil and gas and energy/renewables.
Candidates with the required experience will mainly be responsible for a contentious workload and will provide assistance on non-contentious matters as well. This is a truly hybrid role which will involve drafting pleadings, statements and instructing experts in addition to reviewing, drafting, negotiating and completing due diligence on a number of construction contracts.
