TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with a private day nursery based just north of Leeds. The current team of Nursery Practitioners provide a nurturing environment for the children within their care, ensuring the children are inspired and have fun throughout the day. The nursery provides a ‘home away from home’ atmosphere for the children, helping them settle into the nursery and grow comfortable within the setting, with large spacious rooms offering a wide range of different activities for the children to play with.
The nursery are currently searching for a Nursery Assistant to join their growing team on a part-time basis. The successful applicant will have previous experience caring for young children, and will be eager to join a new team and develop their own skills as a Nursery Assistant. The successful Nursery Assistant will be able to provide 2 professional references and will be happy to provide or apply for an Enhanced DBS Certificate.
The successful Nursery Assistant will:
Have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and current Safeguarding and Child Protection policies and procedures
Have previous experience working with young children under the age of 5
