This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to take forward our highly respected provision. We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Nursery Manager to be responsible for the overall running of our 119 place nursery for children aged 6 months to 5 years of age.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Early Years Manager with previous leadership experience. You will have a warm and positive approach and a good knowledge of all aspects of child development, safeguarding and support for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
You will help us to maintain our excellent relationships with the children and their parents.
Our new Nursery Manager will:
- be qualified to at least level 3 however, qualifications to level 6 are desirable.
- have an understanding of the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage and the Ofsted inspection Frameworks (Early Inspection Framework & Education Inspection Framework).
- demonstrate strong leadership who models and supports staff to deliver high quality practice. Our manager will inspire staff and help communicate our established vision and values across the community.
For this role you will need to have an understanding of budgets and working alongside our Business Manager you will have shared responsibility for the nursery’s budget. You will also support with business planning and staff recruitment.
