About Priory Bristol
Bristol Hospital is rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) the Grade II listed hospital building is set in extensive grounds in the suburb Stapleton, just off the M32 and less than three miles from the centre of Bristol with free parking onsite.
There are 76 beds spread over seven wards offering a diverse range of services including Psychiatric Intensive Care (PICU), eating disorders, acute and rehab and recovery. This offers opportunities to gain experience of working in a number of different services.
The hospital is overseen by an approachable and dynamic senior management team and has excellent links with local universities, which provides plenty of opportunities to gain experience of dealing with complex cases.
This role would be ideal for a candidate with PICU, ED, rehabilitation or acute mental health experience. We want someone who can help deliver a real and lasting difference to our patients, by building a culture that supports our values and puts the people we care for at the centre of what we do.
The Role of the Nurse Associate includes, following an initial assessment by a registered nurse:
- supporting the delivery of an ongoing comprehensive service user nursing assessment
- planning, implementation and evaluation of person-centred care in a collaborative way, of both their mental and physical healthcare needs
maintaining the service users rights
- working collaboratively with the MDT
- maintaining a safe and therapeutic working environment and accurate records
- Candidates must have successfully completed their HEI programme to become a Nursing Associate and be able to demonstrate experience of working in teams under appropriate supervision as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
