Job Title: Office administrator and personal assistant to fruit farmer
Location: Dundee, Scotland (with a mixture of on-site and potentially some remote work)
Hours: Part-time/permanent, with some flexibility required during peak farming seasons
Salary: £TBCk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle communications with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Support on certain financial elements.
- Organise the farm's calendar, scheduling all necessary appointments and meetings efficiently.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all farm activities, including planting, harvesting, sales, and equipment maintenance.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure seamless farm operations.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Support marketing and sales efforts, managing digital content, and processing orders.
- Support on certain financial elements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an administrative or personal assistant role, preferably within an agricultural or rural business setting.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of agricultural industry and regulations would be advantageous.
- Experience in Harvest Manager and Sage Accounting beneficial.
- Language skills nice to have: Polish, Bulgarian and Romanian.
