As a School Office Administrator, you will be at the heart of office team, providing crucial support to our staff, students, and parents. Your role will be pivotal in upholding the school's vision and values, and you will be entrusted with fundamental administrative responsibilities.
School Office Administrator Key Responsibilities:
- Fixed-term position – ASAP-31/08/2025
- Term-Time - £28,545 full-time equivalent
- 12.30-4.30pm – 5 days per week
- Work on Reception and act as the immediate point of contact for parents and pupils
- Coordinating school events and the school calendar.
- Responsible for attendance working with the Home School Link Officer to ensure first day calling is followed, registers are kept correctly.
- Responsible for the ordering of stationary, keeping stock of 2nd hand school uniform including organising sales. Supporting with the organisation of resources, visits, clubs and other administration duties.
- Greeting and assisting visitors to sign in.
- Keeping records and logs up to date.
- Updating Sims.
- Minimum of one year of administrative experience – ideally in a school setting
- Exceptional proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Strong IT skills.
- Outstanding customer service capabilities.
- Impeccable time management and organizational skills.
- Able to complete complex administrative tasks with minimal supervision.
- Valid First-Aid qualification
- Experience with databases, particularly SIMs
