Office Administrator Vacancy
Job title:Office Administrator.
Hours: 30 hours or 37 hours per week, working Monday to Friday. We are keen to speak to applicants who are looking for either full time or part time work.
Salary: Full time equivalent of £25,000 per annum based on 37 hours.
Place of work: Hybrid, flexible working in agreement with CEO and in line with business needs.

CASBA is an advocacy charity in the south Birmingham area. We make sure the voices of people with disabilities are heard and their rights are recognised. We empower people with disabilities to speak up for themselves or advocate on their behalf when needed.
Our team are passionate about the difference we make and are now looking for someone to join us as an Office Administrator.
What we are looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident, and highly organised Office Administrator to play a vital role in our day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will be responsible developing, leading, and implementing a high level of administrative support to ensure the successful running of our organisation.
We are looking for a strong team player, who can make the role their own and bring new ideas and processes to help us grow and develop.
As part of this role, you will manage the smooth running of the office; scheduling and coordinating meetings and trainings sessions. You will provide high level administration support for trustee meeting preparation, fundraising, our annual AGM, and all quality standard preparation and execution. As a key member of the team, you will be first contact for citizens and stakeholders alike.
You will prepare for, attend, and take accurate minutes of any meetings, including trustee meetings, the monthly management meeting, and the employee voice forum. You will provide support to managers with any administrative tasks relating to the recruitment and induction of new staff, health and safety, DBS checks and lone working procedures. You will support CASBA’s quality improvements especially the QPM standard every three years.
Using your organisational and planning skills you will also help arrange any staff and trustee away days, development days and strategy days.
About the person
You will have:
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A positive can-do attitude.
- A commitment to providing a high-quality service.
- Ability to manage a wide variety of relationships with clients, partners, staff, and funders.
