Office Assistant – Business Development
Appetite Me is the leading developer of farm shops, restaurants and cafes working with country estates, farmers, landowners, and garden centres. We are based near Bury St Edmunds, at Ixworth Thorpe, and our offices are on a farm in a converted barn, the perfect environment for our business. We are currently working with some of the most prestigious country estates and farming groups in the country right now, developing fantastic diversification projects.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Business Development team; the role includes sourcing new business leads from a multitude of different platforms, making initial contact via email and telephone, keeping the CRM system updated daily and working with the Business Development team to delivering rural retail diversification projects across the UK. The first stage of working with new clients is often to produce Project Feasibility studies; this role will heavily involve completing these studies with the senior team.
The occasional offsite client visit throughout the UK with the senior team will be required.
Responsibilities & Requirements
· To gather research data for Feasibility Studies
· Confident Telephone Manner
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organisational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office & CRM Systems
· Keeping the CRM System up to date
· Strong internal communication skills, keeping the senior team updated.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.00 per hour
