Office Administrator & Receptionist
25,000 per annum
Chelmsford, Essex
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm
My client, a large property business based in Chelmsford is currently seeking an Office Administrator & Receptionist to assist in the day-to-day running of their office.

Based on reception, your duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Answer calls and greeting clients
- Answer general emails and postal correspondence
- Assist various departments
- Help organise the Summer and Christmas staff parties
- Process invoices for purchase order numbers on internal software
- Manage the file archive storage and records
- Manage health and safety as well as fire regulations within the office
- Order office supplies
- Work closely with the handyman regarding general property maintenance
- Liaise with various building service suppliers (e.g. fire alarm, window cleaners, air con etc.)
- Chase unpaid invoices for all office related bills
- Formatting, proof reading and binding documents
- Work overflow assistance/holiday/sickness cover for secretaries in other departments
- Raise fees for accounts team
- Send out rent demands once a fortnight, folding and franking a high volume of letters
- Sort post and scan bank statements
The ideal candidate:
- Ideally will have previous experience in a similar role
- Good communication skills - both verbal and written
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels
- Proactive with exceptional organisational and co-ordination skills
- Professional telephone manner
- IT literate, Microsoft Office
- Ability to prioritise and perform under pressure
- Positive attitude, reliable and dependable
