The Company:ER Recruitment are working with a leading, well-respected business to recruit an enthusiastic receptionist to join them in their success. Reporting to the Directors, this person will be the first point of contact on behalf of the business and will be a vital member in supporting the team with administration duties. Role & Responsibilities of the Receptionist/Administrator:
- Greeting and welcoming visitors, including issuing visitor badges/fobs.
- General telephone duties dealing with incoming and outgoing calls.
- Handling of customer enquires via telephone, email or letter.
- Opening and distributing of daily post.
- Ordering and maintaining supplies of stationery.
- Visiting the wholesalers to purchase supplies of drinks, snacks etc for the staff vending machine and ensuring it is kept stocked at all times.
- Setting up meeting facilities, including arranging catering where required.
- Interacting with suppliers to schedule routine visits (e.g. IT monthly visits, pest control etc.).
- Assisting with charity support, events and fundraising where required.
- Filing, scanning and shredding as required.
- Supporting other departments with administrative tasks where necessary.
- Supporting management with reasonable tasks as required.
- General administration duties.
About You as the Receptionist/Administrator:
- Previous receptionist experience is preferred.
- Professional telephone manner.
- Competent with Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word).
- Ability to handle pressure and work to tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy when producing work.
- Discretion, trustworthiness and confidentiality.
