Job description

We are recruiting for a company based in Kings Langley, our client is looking for an Office Administrator to join their close-knit team.

We ideally are looking for someone with some form of office-based experience however if you are a fresh graduate or have come from a retail background and are looking to build your career within an office environment then this could be a fantastic opportunity for you!

As part of this role you will find yourself managing customer calls, booking flights/accommodation for clients, assisting with purchase orders and much more.

This position is paying up to £24,000, hours are 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Please note this is a fully office-based role. Duties:

  • Answering phone calls and speaking to clients.
  • Opening and sorting through mail.
  • Managing all deliveries and couriers, incoming and outgoing.
  • Processing purchase orders.
  • Carrying out front of house duties - meeting and greeting clients/customers.
  • Weekly stationery inventories and supplies to ensure all stock is up to date.
  • Manging company phone contracts and contact lists.
  • Develop and maintain filing systems, making labels and folders.
  • Booking flights, accommodation, travel arrangements including hire vehicles and updating staff movement's spreadsheet.
  • Scanning, faxing, and photocopying in general and for finance team.
  • Managing the development and maintenance of the office facilities, equipment and consumables including security fobs for employees.
  • Coordinating and arranging company events.
  • Ad-hoc Secretarial duties.

  • A strong team player.
  • Trustworthy and reliable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (predominantly Outlook, Word, and Excel).
