Office Administrator - Temporary to Permanent Opportunity!!
Location: Leicester
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm
Basic Salary: £10.42 Per Hour

Our client is a highly established and profitable Engineering company with a huge presence across the UK. Our client prides themselves in providing a range of services to their clients and has a brand reputation of second to none. Due to further growth plans, they are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking, and experienced Office Administrator to join their professional Office Team as an Office Administrator on a Full Time Temporary to Permanent basis.
Office Administratorrole:
- Handling telephone calls and emails, filing, preparing documentation, and providing administrative assistance to Engineers and Sales team.
- Answer telephone calls and respond to emails promptly, professionally, and courteously
- Preparing technical information, quotations, and sales reports as directed by the sales and engineering team to the Office Administrator
- Maintain filing system for office documents
- Create and update databases, spreadsheets, and other records
- Prepare and issue quotations and product information to clients
- Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodation, and itinerary planning for staff as needed
- Assist engineers and sales team in preparing project-related documents, reports, and presentations
- Provide general administrative support to team members as needed.
Office Administrator requirements:
- Proficiency in English language skills, excellent computer skills, and familiarity with software programs such as Microsoft Office and Outlook are essential for this role.
- Proven experience as an Office Administrator, Administrative Assistant, or similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficient computer skills, including expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook. (Sage 50 would be advantageous but not essential)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and an empathetic approach when dealing with colleagues.
- Previous experience in an engineering or technical environment is desirable but not essential
