Role Outline

As the Office Coordinator, you will be a highly visible and key member of Shared Services, providing wide-ranging administrative and operational support to Cambridge and other office sites when required.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience within a similar role. With excellent organisational skills, you will be flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs of the business and identify standard procedures for completing duties with efficiency. You will need strong communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently both in person and remotely.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a full-time role to start immediately and will run for approximately 3 months. The role is office based, with the possibility of working from home one day a week. The office is based in central Cambridge and is easily accessible via public transport.

Key Duties

  • Ensure the smooth running of the Cambridge Office, acting as a key point of contact for both internal and external enquiries
  • Manage office administration and general correspondence
  • Plan and implement travel arrangements
  • Coordinate meetings and associated catering
  • Manage office Health & Safety processes and records
  • Support People Operations with onboarding processes
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Team

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a technology-focused company setting
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, demonstrated in previous roles and duties, such as organising office events and meetings, and problem-solving to resolve office-related issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and remote contexts
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Ideally, good local knowledge of Cambridge and its businesses/suppliers
  • Ideally, previous experience in Fire warden and/or First Aid roles
