Job Type: Part-time, Hybrid/Remote with occasional travel to Derby
Hours: 20 hours per week (with potential to increase as the business grows pro rata)
Salary: £25,000-£30,000 (based on 20 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees
- Handle HR responsibilities, including onboarding new employees, managing employee records, and assisting with employee relations
- Coordinate and oversee administrative tasks such as office supplies management, scheduling meetings, and maintaining office equipment
- Assist with budgeting and expense tracking
- Manage office communication channels and ensure effective internal and external communication
- Support the team with various administrative and operational tasks as needed
- Occasionally travel to Derby for meetings or company events
Requirements:
- Previous experience in handling payroll and basic HR responsibilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using relevant software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexibility to occasionally travel to Derby as required
