Job description

My client are seeking an Office Manager to lead office support and facilities, ensuring a safe, effective and productive working environment for their employees. This role also involves providing support for key tasks and projects within the commercial function. The ideal candidate will be the office-based lead, managing a range of responsibilities from health and safety compliance to IT and mobile services, as well as supporting commercial functions and events.

This is an ongoing temporary Maternity cover contract which will run for approximately 14-15 months and looking for someone who can start as soon as possible, with a retention bonus paid at the end of the contract.

All office based with flexible working hours based on a 37.5hr week and due to location, you must be a driver.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external customers, managing office reception duties.
  • Oversee health and safety in partnership with an external provider to ensure compliance with UK legislation.
  • Manage the office budget, procurement processes, and supplier relationships.
  • Conduct new starter inductions and manage the offboarding process for leavers.
  • Administer UK and Ireland SharePoint online and manage the Corporate Website content.
  • Handle office security and act as the Key Holder for the business.
  • Coordinate IT setup for new starters and manage local office IT requirements.
  • Support the Sales Management Team and manage promotional materials.
  • Organize UK meetings, events, and office meeting facilities in line with company values.
  • Assist the General Manager and Finance Director with the supply of products and medical devices, liaising with wholesalers and managing stock issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar position or sales support.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and understand business needs.
  • High level of self-management and motivation.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an asset but not required.
  • Project management skills.
  • Positive can-do attitude and customer-oriented approach.
  • Problem identification and solving skills.
  • Budget management experience is a plus.
