Overview - Advance Medical Transport Services (AMTS Ltd) is a CQC registered company, providing non-emergency and HDU patient transport for the NHS. We also provide medical cover for large scale events and run our own Qualsafe registered training centre.
Hours: Mon to Fri, 09:00-17:00 (some flexibilty may be required on rare occasions)
Main Duties include -Administrative support, using Microsoft office packages, including word, excel, Powerpoint, publisher, as well as TEAMs and Xero. undertaking secretarial and administrative duties for the management team.
- Establish and maintain office systems, both paper based and electronic to a high standard and preparing confidential reports and letters with a degree of high accuracy, whilst keeping up-to-date KPI/performance indicators for patient movement
- Ensure patient data collected from crews, is accurate and kept secure at all times and check against the database
- Report discrepancies or cause for concern to the General Manager
- On-boarding of new staff, update staff training files and highlight when due for renewal
- Taking minutes at meetings, typing up and disseminating to the whole team where necessary
- Booking of Qualsafe training at our base
- Diary management and all other administrative tasks deemed necessary by the management team
Person specification - AMTS is looking for someone who has the ability to multitasking and prioritise, as you will be dealing with a high volume of work with a variety of deadlines. Experience of dealing with people by phone, by email and in person, as well as working with Excel, Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Xero and TEAMs is essential to the role. The ideal candidate will be dealing with sensitive and confidential information and must demonstrate diplomacy and professionalism with the ability to to handle challenging conversation on occasion. you will also need to feel comfortable working in a process driven environment with strict protocols to be adhered to.
Essential Requirements - Previous office management role is a requirement, particularly the advanced Microsoft Office skills with Excel, Outlook, Word and Powerpoint, as well as Xero and TEAMs. It is important to demonstrate trust and reliability while remaining calm and professional in a pressured environment.
