Executive Assistant/Office Manager
My Client is highly rated law firm headquartered in London. Several of its partners operate from a satellite office in Shrewsbury for convenience. The candidate will play a crucial role in the Firm's development and expansion, but based primarily on Shrewsbury, and working alongside the Senior partner, in particular. The Shrewsbury office is located in the renowned, landmark Flaxmill building recently restored by English Heritage at a cost of £30m.
They are looking for a highly experienced Executive Assistant to become a central part of their operational team. Ideally, with experience/understanding of with working with a Law firm or Legal environment or working at CEO/Exec level, you will be a highly organised individual, adept at providing executive administrative and office management support to Senior Partners and the broader team.
Located in Shrewsbury, we are looking for someone that is happy to be office based, there is flexibility for 1 day a week working from home if needed.
Responsibilities will include:
Provide key administrative support & assistance to Senior Partner and Partners, including:
- Diary management
- Time recording
- Management of travel, accommodation & expense
- Record meeting minutes when required
- Managing PA rota to ensure cover in office 5 days a week
- Discretely Assist/manage varying personal requirements for Senior Partner
- Provide project management support to the partners across a range of projects and strategic initiatives
- Organise any event/meeting requirements, including venue, catering
Office Management
- Reception and front of house duties
- Schedule meeting room requirements
- Holiday management and tracking
- Liaise with IT support in relation to the IT needs of the business, including regular meetings with IT support
- Liaising with landlord in relation to any matters concerning office accommodation
- Manage office stationery requirements and maintenance/functionality of office equipment
- Co-ordination of billing
Skills & experience required
- You will have a proven track record providing executive assistant support
- Experience working within a Law firm or Legal setting; understanding of litigation would be highly desirable
- Discretion and trust is a core value

- Ability to foresee Senior team requirements / ways of doing things
