NonStop Social Care is looking for a Ofsted Home Manager for a permanent contract with a Therapeutic Social Enterprise to manage a mid-term home with Outstanding Ofsted in Leeds.
The organisations has a great structure and uses a therapeutic model that implements attachment and trauma informed care, therapeutic parenting principles and committed to providing outstanding care to up to 5 children.
The home has Outstanding Ofsted and is a stable, beautful home just outside Leed City Centre. This is a mid-term home where young people stay for a minimum of two years with a scope to work through existing traumas and gain confidence to explore the world further. The home has their own school only residents children can attend and a clinician responsible to work with the children.
Responsibilities
The successful Ofsted Home Manager is someone that is experienced in residential childcare and has managed a children's home before. Main part of the role will be to have overall responsibility of the day-to-day running and positive development of a well-established team.
Requirements
Please apply if:
- you have Professional qualification at Level 3 'Working with Children and Young People' (or equivalent) and willingness to undergo Level 5
- you have at least 3 years of experience managing a children's home in the last 5 years
- you are a registered children's Home Manager or deputy manager
