Our client, a well known Law Firm, are looking to hire an Onboarding Assistant ASAP!
ROLE: Onboarding Assistant
WHERE: Liverpool Street
WHEN: Monday - Friday / 09:30 - 18:00 / Hybrid: 3 days in office
SALARY: £38,000 per annum
DUTIES:
- Oversee the entire preboarding process for new employees, including handling paperwork, background & conflict checks, and other administrative tasks
- Liaise with Hiring Manager and new starters for start dates
- Be the main first point of contact for all new starters
- Collaborate with the People Team and other relevant teams to implement effective onboarding strategies and programs
- Organise and conduct Induction sessions
- Conduct regular check-ins with new employees
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee preboarding activities
- Ensure all compliance is up to date and correct for employees
- Continuously identify areas for improvement in the preboarding process
- Contribute to building a collaborative, supportive and high performing team committed to professional excellence
WHAT'S NEEDED:
- Legal or other professional services experience preferred but not essential
- Strong experience in an administrative or coordinator role
- Keen eye for detail and a great work ethic
- Capable of juggling a heavy work load whilst remaining calm
- Familiar with working across different business sectors and teams (regional and international)
