Due to recent growth, they have created a brand new Operations Director role. Reporting into and working closely with the CEO, the Operations Director is responsible for the day-to-day operational functions of the software company, as well as implementing and delivering short & long term strategies to support our growth goals. In addition, the Operations Director is critical to ensuring that they maintain a culture where employees feel valued, appreciated and developed, and that employees are aligned with company goals, vision and values. Leading by example, the Operations Director will help to drive this culture and ensure that continue to meet the needs of the team and that organisation continues to be a great place to work.
Operations Director – Duties and More Information:
- Overseeing the Testing Department: Working closely with the Technical Operations Manager to ensure there are robust testing strategies to ensure the quality of the software products, collaborating with the CTO and Development Team to enhance testing processes, documentation and tools.
- Overseeing Customer Support: Working closely with the Technical Operations Manager to ensure that the Support Team provide timely and effective resolutions to customer issues, and perform to a high standard to consistently meet and exceed the expectations from our customers. Also, overseeing the development of Confluence for the support team, ensuring that knowledge is shared within the team and that there is strong business continuity plans in place.
- Overseeing Implementation: Oversee the seamless implementation of SaaS solutions for clients, ensuring successful onboarding and integration.
- Overseeing Marketing and Sales: Working closely with the Marketing and Sales team to ensure that they are attracting and engaging our target market and meeting their goals.
- Account Management: Over time, start to take over the Account Management of Key Accounts, ensuring our customers have an excellent experience and we maintain outstanding customer retention levels.
- Measuring Performance and Efficiency: Measuring the performance of all the departments and recommend improvement strategies within monthly Board Meetings. Track and analyse KPIs.
- Stakeholder Management: Building and managing relationships with suppliers, vendors, partners and clients
- People and Culture Champion: Working closely with the Head of People and Culture to ensure that people feel valued, supported and developed. Rolling out any initiatives as needed and ensuring that there is a culture of learning and mentorship. Leading and motivating the teams to increase performance and improve results whilst being commercially aware.
- Oversee Compliance: Ensure the company Is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations across all departments.

Operations Director – Over to You!
- Proven track record of performing highly within operational senior management SaaS roles, with demonstratable achievements.
- In-depth knowledge of managing multi-disciplinary teams, including experience of managing sales, project delivery, support and marketing.
- Ability to manage comprehensive budgets and business operations.
- An understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder relationship management and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in business development.
- An degree in business or accounting subjects, or equivalent experience.
- In addition, any knowledge of the Property Tech sector and knowledge of accounting software would be a bonus.
