Operations Executive
This award winning luxury travel company are looking for an Operations Executive to join their high performing team, to provide exceptional service to customers from the time their booking is confirmed all the way through to their post holiday experience. Operations Executive - Role & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for handling pre-travel supplier driven changes, taking ownership to ensure a satisfactory outcome for the customer.
- Provide support to customers in relation to pre and post holiday complaints, investigating and negotiating with suppliers to reclaim any compensation paid.
- Providing support to customers in resort with any issues arising, both directly and via local ground agents .
- Play a pivotal role in the handling of emergency situations arising both pre travel and with customers on holiday.
- Monitor any re-occurring quality issues with overseas product and escalate to appropriate product / buying team.
- Support Duty Officers as required and provide out of hours support to cover absence and in the event of emergency situations as required.
Operations Executive - Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience in the travel industry ideally for a Tour Operator in an operations or customer service capacity.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine desire to ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
- Pro-active approach to problem solving whilst taking a calm, measured approach, balancing the needs of the customer whilst remaining commercially astute.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and to effectively prioritise and manage workload.
- Willingness to work additional hours and at weekends during times of crises or as business demands require.
- Working knowledge of Galileo and Travelbox would be advantage.
Operations Executive - Key Benefits:
- Salary £27,693 per annum plus discretionary annual bonus
- Monday to Friday 9 to 5 with Saturdays on a rota basis (35 hours per week)
