Our Moreton Bakery is the home of Cadbury Cakes.
As Operations Manager, you'll be an Integral member of the Senior Leadsership Team, playing a key role in delivering the site's vision and be responsible for the leadership of the all manufacturing operations, from Goods-In through processing to finished product
You'll ensure all site operations meet Company and Statutory standards regarding Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality Standards, whilst ensuring that targets are met through driving continuous improvement and effective leadership of the Operational teams, according to best practice.
What you'll be doing:
- Ensuring that all manufacturing operations remain safe for colleagues, contractors, and the environment.
- Driving the manufacturing management team to deliver operational excellence against defined metrics.
- Driving a CI and collaborative culture that ensures teams are empowered to think big whilst being inspired to own their own activities.
- Managing quality standards in a cost-effective manner, ensuring budgetary control and manufacturing efficiences.
- Delivering a food safety culture through role modelling what good looks like, maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring all ativities and colleagues are compliant within the law and best practice.
- Continually identifying, developing and mentoring talent whilst creating a pipeline of successors and continuously building capability and development plans.
- Communicating a compelling vision to colleagues and stakeholders, completing service reviews and business updates as appropriate.
What we need from you:
- Experience in the role of Operations Manager at a similar sized manufauring site.
- Demonstrable success in the delivery of improvement projects and CI initiatives.
- A high level of financial awareness and commercial acumen.
- Proven coaching skills and leadership abilities that have inspired large teams to success.
