Position Overview:
As the Operations Manager for the Subsidence Department, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimising all aspects of our subsidence operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and effective management of projects, resources, and personnel within the department. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in subsidence management, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the Subsidence Department in alignment with overall company objectives.
- Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Project Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of subsidence projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Resource Allocation:
- Optimize resource utilization to maximize productivity and meet project demands.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Team Development:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of professionals within the Subsidence Department.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Address client concerns and provide timely resolutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in subsidence management with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong project management skills with a successful track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices.
