Operations Manager
£40,000 - £45,000 + bonus & benefits.
London / Hybrid
Our client is a leader in their niche of the fashion industry, providing high-quality clothing supported by a well-developed ecommerce fulfilment operation. They now have a great opportunity for an Operations Manager to join the business to continue to refine their processes and operations and work closely with their 3PL partners both in Europe and the US.
Key responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Commercial & Operations Director, provide day to day management of the operations team, maintaining a clear talent plan, developing the team to reach their potential and deliver excellent results
• Build a strong relationship with each 3PL sharing priorities and working through issues to continually improve operational performance.
• Seek opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
• Drive change, promoting and measuring the adoption of new processes across customer service, fulfilment and returns including packaging, carrier experience and customer communications
• Use a data-driven approach to continually focus on marginal gains in performance and investigate any potential issues throughout the end-to-end customer journey.
• Contribute to ecommerce promotional planning to ensure operational readiness.
• Actively participate in the creation and execution of operational roadmap that ensures operational excellence, business continuity and customer satisfaction

Requirements

• A background of experience in operations preferably within a strongly ecommerce led business.
• A pedigree in working with 3PL partners to deliver high performance.
• A strong continuous improvement mindset.
• Customer focus with an understanding of what constitutes an excellent customer experience
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a team player who can develop and maintain trusted relationships at all levels in and outside of the business
• Flexibility and readiness to adapt to changing priorities.
• Prepared to travel periodically (Europe and the US).
