Operations Manager
This key leadership role will oversee and and manage day-to-day operations of a dynamic and growing business. Primary objectives are to ensure that the company's operations run smoothly and efficiently, while also achieving strategic goals and meeting customer expectations.
- Effective and efficient manpower planning, ensuring all wages costs, are maintained at acceptable levels and within budget
- Lead and develop existing workforce, building a culture of high performance and ensuring a strong customer service awareness.
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure the business is fully compliant in relation to Health & Safety, Quality Management Systems and HACCP
- Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating supply chain activities
- Ensure all BRC and similar quality standards within the food industry are part of the culture of the business
Requirements
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, the ability to lead a team
- A Logistics, Distribution and Supply Chain background
- Management experience within the food industry
