We have an exciting opportunity for an Organisational Change Management Lead to join a well established organisation for an initial 3 month contract with likely extensions. This role will be Hybrid.
**This role is inside IR35, Umbrella contractors only**
**Candidates must have previous Local Government/Housing Experience**
The Organisational Change Management Lead is responsible for organisational readiness, change and transformation related to the business Improvement and Recovery plan. This role will support the OD Strategic Lead with managing all aspects of change associated with the transformation of the organisation to align with business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organisational structures. This includes oversight and leadership of all Organisational Change Management project team activities. This person will focus on the people side of change. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing Change Management strategies and plans that maximize stakeholder adoption and usage while minimising resistance. The Change Management Lead will work with the OD team, PMO and Leadership to ensure adoption, utilisation and proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organisation.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Organisational Change Management:
* Design, develop and implement Change Management strategies and plans
* Supports the execution of activities related to Organisational Change Management and end user readiness
* Manages resolution of potential organisational obstacles
* Works with wider teams to ensure that new design elements are being appropriately communicated to the organisation and effectively incorporated into development activities
* Assess Stakeholder and change impact analysis identifying potential project impacts/risks
* Complete overall Change Management assessment
* Identify and anticipate organizational challenges and/or resistance; develop risk mitigation plan
* Support initiatives to develop employees' understanding and acceptance of impacts on specific job roles, policies, technology impacts and business practices
* Develop and maintain a strong working relationships at all levels
* Assists with development of work plan and integration of the Change Management plan into the overall IRP plan
Desired Skills and Competencies
* Competent in diagnosing individual and organisational performance improvement needs, matching intervention methodology with needs, and determining the appropriate development measures
* Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy to understand business terms to all levels of management including senior leaders
* Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities with high attention to detail
* Possesses strong analytical skills, good listening skills with ability to effectively coach and mentor others; must be able to lead by influence
* Exhibits effective team skills
