SalaryA permanent vacancy has arisen for the post of Organisational Support Assistant (Scotland).
Within the RMT Scotland office at 180 Hope Street, Glasgow, you will contribute to the delivery and continual improvement of high quality customer focused membership services, increasing member satisfaction and improvement to retention rates and proactively assisting with RMT campaigns in Scotland.
To succeed in this new role you will need:
• Demonstrable administrative experience in a busy office environment.
• To demonstrate an understanding and support for the core principles of the RMT and the trade union movement;
• Experience of providing excellent service to a wide range of service users including third party service providers, trade union members and trade union officers and other trade unions;
• Effective oral and written communication skills, including experience of complaint handling;
• An ability to plan, prioritise and organise your workload to meet required deadlines;
• Working knowledge of Microsoft packages and experience in the use of databases, including the production of tailored reports;
• An awareness of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and data confidentiality.
