About the role:
Astute’s Power Team is partnered with a market-leading Energy company to recruit a National Outage & Projects Engineer for their fleet of Energy from Waste Power Stations across the UK. This will include Scotland, England and Wales.
The vital National Outage Project Engineer role comes with a salary of �55,615 + a car allowance of c.�6,000 per annum + Bonus + travel expenses + overtime.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the National Outage & Projects Manager you will be:
* Planning and scheduling of work packages by utilising best practice to drive a safe, efficient and cost-effective delivery plan
* Provide contractor liaison during planning and implementation phases of the works
* Assist in the development of pressure parts management plans across all sites to forecast scheduled preventative maintenance tasks
* Regularly attending sites to review critical stock holdings of outage spare and wear parts to ensure all required items are held at site
* Support the site Engineering Managers in the day-to-day delivery of the outage period
* Conduct RCM reviews of mechanical maintenance procedures to deliver equipment availability
Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Ideally have a HNC qualification or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline
* An IOSH qualification will be desirable.
* Given this is a UK role, a UK driving licence is a necessity.
Experience and skills
The National Outage & Projects Engineer role would suit someone who has:
* Experience of power industry outage planning
* Experience managing contractors to deliver agreed KPIs
* Experience of HSE legislations relevant to the Power industry or heavy process engineering environments
