TRAINEE PART TIME ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATORFIXED TERM 4 MONTHS
We are currently seeking anAccounts Clerk to join our finance team on a fixed-term basis until the end of May 2024. This could be split into two roles of an Accounts Payable Clerk and an Accounts Receivable Clerk should the right candidates present themselves.
We are a leading supplier of gifts and homeware accessories to retailers of all sizes. We are a friendly finance team of 10, within an office-based company of 40 people in Waltham Cross. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams with customer account enquiries, taking accounts receivable payments, posting supplier invoices and other administrative roles.
Role Title - Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk
Salary -Minimum Wage
Location - Waltham Cross
Hours -flexible within 9am to 5:30pm, 3 - 4 days per week, or 1-2 days per week for split role.
Contract Type - Fixed-Term Contract ending 31st May 2024
Responsibilities of the role
Accounts Receivable
First point of contact for customer account enquiries relating to statements, credit notes, invoices and goods collections
Collect accounts receivable payments by phone
Issue credit notes
Accounts Payable
Posting supplier invoices
Assisting team with maintaining key accounting spreadsheets
Assisting team with month end analysis
Ad-Hoc
Administrative tasks
