Jenson Fisher have been engaged by a highly reputable organisation based in Glasgow to recruit an
Accounts Assistant on a part-time (4 days) or full-time Contract basis. This post will be for at least 6 months and there may be an opportunity for the role to become permanent. This will suita a candidate who has cerdit control and purchase ledger experience.
Main duties:
- Contacting customers via phone and email to chase debt
- Reducing aged debt and minimising legal/bad debts
- Risk Assessing new credit account applications and making credit judgements
- Reviewing credit limits and setting limits within company guidelines
- Dealing with credit control queries
- Maintaining and reconciling a high volume of accounts
- Producing invoices, statements, and chase letters
Requirements:
- Credit control experience
- Proficient user of Excel
- Xero experience would be preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Team player
