This exciting opportunity will be ideal for an experienced Accounts Assistant or Purchase Ledger Clerk seeking a fulfilling role within a supportive environment. About the Part Time Accounts Assistant Role
Working as part of a small finance team, this role will have responsibility for preparing weekly and monthly accounts alongside reporting and forecasting.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Invoice processing
- Purchase Ledger
- Sales Ledger
- Bank reconciliations
- Preparation of VAT returns and P11Ds
- Administration and payment of staff expenses
About You
You will have previous experience in a similar finance role and be highly comfortable with processing invoices. If you have experience in a Purchase Ledger or Sales Ledger role and are looking for a more varied accounts role, this could be an ideal role for you. Experience within a Manufacturing or Engineering environment would be preferred but not essential.
Other requirements include:
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Well organised with the ability to manage a varying workload.
- Sound understanding of running a purchase order process.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Some knowledge of payroll would be advantageous.
