Part Time Accounts Assistant (Practice)

My client, a Chartered Accountancy firm with offices throughout Norfolk (this role is based in Wymondham) are looking for an experienced accountancy professional; they are a family orientated organisation who put their clients at the heart of all they do.

Key role functions:

• You will manage a portfolio of clients, providing accounting services including bookkeeping, VAT returns, and payroll
• You will prepare financial statements and tax returns for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
• You will communicate effectively with clients and other stakeholders, providing advice and guidance as required
• You will maintain accurate records of client transactions and ensure all accounting procedures are followed
• You will keep up-to-date with changes to tax laws and regulations, and implement necessary changes to clients' accounts

Key Requirements for suitable candidates:

• AAT qualified or qualified by experience
• Experience in a similar practice accounting role
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of Xero, Sage, Quickbooks & IRIS accounting software would be advantageous

Package:

Salary £26K-£30K

25 days plus bank holidays

Pension employer 3% employer 5%

Hours: My client is ideally looking for someone to work three days per week to compliment an existing Part Time staff member (office based) 9:00-17:30 or 8:30-17:00 (flex)
