Salary: £28,000 pro-rata
Hours: Part-Time - 30 hours per week

Responsibilities:
* Processing of new order invoices, payments, and facilitate direct debit setup procedures.
* Oversee the management of the monthly direct debit spreadsheet, ensuring accurate data, and upload to Smartdebit for seamless financial transactions.
* Dispatch monthly invoices via email or postal services to special request customers and individuals making payments through BACS.
* Proactively monitor and diligently follow up on unpaid bills to maintain financial integrity.
* Update customer details to ensure accurate and current information.
* Efficiently handle the processing of cancellations and complete Administration Forms for customers undergoing Liquidation or Administration processes.
* Handle the processing of purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Monitor, post payments, receipts, and transfers to QuickBooks for multiple bank accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
* Perform monthly reconciliation of bank accounts to identify/address discrepancies promptly.
* Post monthly payroll figures to QuickBooks for both employees and HMRC, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Facilitate the setup of employee payments for monthly wages, contributing to an efficient payroll process.
* Conduct comprehensive reconciliation of all accounts in preparation for quarterly VAT returns, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
About YOU!
The ideal candidate for this part-Time Bookkeeper position should possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in bookkeeping, demonstrating a proven track record of proficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting software. A comprehensive understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures is essential. Excellent communication skills, coupled with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team, are crucial for success in this role. In addition to this, you will also need to exhibit a keen attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping, showcasing a commitment to maintaining high-quality financial records.
