Summary of Position:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our Client, a well-established accountancy firm. The Part-Time Bookkeeper will be responsible for providing accurate, up-to-date financial information about the business.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Carry out/supervise bookkeeping and accounting up to trial balance including:
o accounts payable.
o accounts receivable.
o bank and cash reconciliation.
o petty cash/expenses.
o month end accrual and prepayments.
- Reconcile debtors, creditors and wages control accounts.
- Complete VAT returns.
- Provide timely and error-free financial reports at regular intervals.
- Respond to enquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
Skills, Experience & Key Candidate Attributes:
- Experience covering the majority of the primary duties.
- Experience working in an accountancy practice environment.
- IT Literate, with experience using Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero, AutoEntry, Dext.
- An eye for detail and the ability to produce work that is consistently accurate.
- Ability to work under pressure both individually and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
