Position: Full time - (Monday-Friday)
Salary: 22-25K Pro Rata (Depending on experience) Holiday allowance: 28 days (inc bank holiday) pro rata to hours.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong numerical aptitude. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing vital support to the finance department.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and invoices.
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely manner.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure all payroll transactions are accurately recorded.
- Generate financial reports, such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and relevant regulations.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, including management and other departments, to address any financial queries or concerns.
- Assist with year-end processes, including liaising with auditors and preparing financial documents for audit purposes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as Xero and Dext.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance would be advantageous.
